NYC / LA – Tyme Johnson was singing before she could talk; belting out soulful, dynamic notes through the halls of her grade school. Tyme’s talent was noticed by everyone – even teachers, who were supportive of her singing, allowing her to sing through the halls of school while her peers worked on their traditional curriculum. The artist has come a long way from singing for her classmates, shooting to stardom quickly; she had a manager before she reached her teen years. Tyme’s music tells a story. Influenced by fellow musician and storyteller Prince, the late singer has served as an inspiration for the ever-talented Tyme. And although Tyme’s vocals are reminiscent of classic R&B, her music takes a more modern spin, including rap and clever, catchy hooks. “I have a feel for hip hop, but also I’m an R&B person. I’m versatile, you’ll see me singing but also, I’m able to bust out rapping on a track,” explains the artist. This unique fusion gave way to Tyme’s latest single, “Instagram Girls.” “Instagram Girls” is an anthem of infidelity almost every woman can relate to. The song tells a story of a no-good boyfriend getting too much attention from the wrong women on his Instagram feed. Though the song is fun and cheeky, it comes from Tyme’s personal, painful experience of losing love over this very situation. Oddly enough, Tyme wrote the song before she realized her ex-beau was cheating, and now she knows he must hear it and think, “Dang, she finished the song!” What might have been a difficult period in her life has made way for a stellar piece of music, and is the perfect song to amp up a girl’s night out or to play in the car on the way to the club. One thing is certain: You haven’t heard the last of Tyme. Her ambition goes far beyond reaching her own success. “Success, for me, means to be able to have a profitable label of my own,” says the budding star and CEO of her own entertainment company, Tyme Entertainment. “I want to be able to help independent artists and pass on my success.” Tyme is innovative, creative, and always exciting fans with the unexpected. You can have Tyme’s music, but you can’t have her man. Watch Instagram Girls. Follow on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

James Lorenzo Duckett Jr born December 5, 1986, better known as Pistol Paco (Formerly Pistol Pete) is a rap artist from the Raleigh area of Memphis, Tn. Paco has been frequently referred to as by his peers as the “Wiz Khalifa of alcohol” and that statement reflects in his music heavily
Rapping started as something he’d do just for entertainment—spend hours freestyling on a karaoke machine with friends. After the hours spent free-styling, writing rhymes, and making beats, Paco realized that he was becoming serious about music. After a brief stint at in college at The University of Tennessee at Martin Paco returned home to Memphis where he began to accumulate the equipment to build his own home studio. After accruing the recording supplies needed Paco began to record and release mix-tapes, including his Happy Hour Trilogy. (Happy Hour, Happy Hour 2: Beer Run, and Happy Hour 3: Last Call) Under the rapidly growing Animal House brand, Paco has been featured on many of his label mates projects including Breadzilla’s (also known as Yoga Flames) We Goin Live Series and Trey Stax’s YoungSoundTrackMack playlist and its sequel. Paco does not have a date for his next project that will be entitled “Jack Daniels Jr” but has been frequently releasing freestyles and visuals through his social media accounts and the Animal House website www.animalheezy.com YouTube: ThePistolPaco Snapchat: PistolPaco Instagram: PistolPaco Facebook: Paco Duckett Twitter: PistolPaco RALEIGH, N.C. – Tangelica Dominae is determined to see her dreams of becoming a successful hip-hop artist come true. She’s using her heritage as a half-breed Native American with ties to
the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina to help propel her image and project a unique presence within the world of hip-hop. Her latest album, “Super Dream Catcher,” is a nod to that heritage and a bold statement to the industry as to her unique sound and individual qualities. Ranging from traditional rap to blends of dance music and even pop, Tangelica’s new album is already starting to make waves among industry circles on the East Coast. As an artist, she’s poised to breakout in big ways over the next year. “I’m a half-breed and I’m someone who wants to focus on my real dreams,” Tangelica said. “I want something a little bit different. With ‘Super Dream Catcher’ I wanted to point to my heritage, and I liked the imagery of what it means to catch your dreams. The idea of a dream catcher originated off of Indian folklore, and as I read more about it and researched it I found that they’re supposed to catch good dreams and bad dreams. When I catch my dreams, I can leave the not-so-good dreams hanging in the wind – those good dreams can push off the negativity elsewhere and I won’t catch those bad vibes anymore.” Her first single off the album is “So Country Crazy” – a dance/pop track that’s full of energy and speaks to the desire to just cut loose after a long day of work. It’s a song that Tangelica said fans can listen to anywhere. It even caught the attention of Chris Brown, who sent her a Tweet after its release saying that his daughter downloaded it on her birthday and went crazy for it. Another single from the album is “Dream Come True.” Tangelica said her North Carolina accent comes in thick on this song, creating a country twang to go with the upbeat music. The song is about meeting a country boy and falling in love for the first time. “It was based off of my first true love,” she said. “We were country bumpkins, but we had fun living that way. It was a great relationship. And this song is about that feeling you have when you’re head over heels about a boy.” A third single off the album that is also seeing a lot of interest from fans is “One Hundred Gs.” It’s another upbeat song that explores what it would be like to have enough money to go wherever you want and buy whatever you want and just have a good time. Tangelica said many of her lyrics start from personal experience or introspection, and grow into creative outlets for things she might want to desire. She refers to them as her musical daydreams – an appropriate name considering the title of her new album. Tangelica will be headlining Aug. 26 at the 360 Lounge in Carlotte, N.C. – backed by Coast 2 Coast Live. Her music is also available for download on all digital media sites, including Soundcloud. Fans can follow her for more information about her music or upcoming live shows on social media at Facebook, Twitter and on Instagram @tdominae. She also has music videos available on YouTube. HOUSTON, TX – Energy. So much energy that it bursts from you in waves that inspire others. JamesCurtis is full of that energy, and he wants to pass it along to fans all over the world through his music. The hot young artist from Houston, Texas, is rising in popularity with his energetic sound, and his new EP “SUPA” is the most recent example of how his music is inspiring others to embrace their individuality. He said it stands for Success, Unity, Positivity and Awesomeness. “I created something awhile back that I put on social media and it received so much love that I kept responding to people with the word ‘SUPA’ over and over again,” Curtis said. “For me it’s a word that its filled with so much love and energy – it’s a word that shows how I channel my inner self and make it into something powerful that I can share with other people. It’s a word that says freedom and energy and being yourself. And that’s exactly what this EP is about – having fun and being free with the music.” The first single from the EP is “Hypecrite,” and features fellow Houston artist Why Jae. The song is something Curtis admits is egotistical, but he considers it a statement to the rest of the rap community that he’s here and he’s ready to make his mark on the industry. Curtis has been rapping professionally for almost two years, though he’s had a love for music for as long as he can remember. He said his mom often tells the story of how he would run downstairs every time he heard the theme song to “The Young and the Restless” just so that he could enjoy the music, and then run back up the stairs once the song was done. “That just goes to show you that my love of music goes far back,” he said. “From the time I was a little kid to playing trombone in middle school, to starting to freestyle and even write my own lyrics in high school – I’ve always loved music. There’s a lot of freestyling in Houston, and it wasn’t until I put one of my songs on Facebook and people started getting really positive about it that I thought I should pursue music as a career.” Curtis said most of his music is born of personal experience, and more often than not takes a more serious tone. He said he writes from experiences associated with watching his single mother raise three children on her own. “To see her struggle and for her to still be able to do what she has done has been inspirational and motivational for me,” he said. “To this day I see her struggle from time to time, but she doesn’t let it get her down. She has a bigger goal and she keeps pushing. It motivates me as an artist to go harder, and when there’s a struggle to keep going. And I want to pass that along to people who listen to my music. I want to stimulate the mind and make you think. I want you to know that you’re not the only one going through what you’re going through. Music is an outlet for a lot of people and it helps a lot of people get over whatever it is they have to get over. I want to be that person who can help the world out and show them that they’re not alone – we can do it together.” Curtis’ EP “SUPA” is scheduled to be released Sept. 15. In addition to the new EP and single, he’ll be headlining a show Sept. 29 at NotsuoH in Houston called “Where Hype Meets Talent.” Fans can listen to his music on his website ImJamesCurtis.com, on Soundcloud, or see his music videos on YouTube. He’s also active on social media on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Curtis is also looking for a team to help propel his career, and is welcoming all graphic designers, promoters, managers and any other music industry insiders who might have an interest in joining his rising career to contact him via email at imjamescurtis@gmail.com. INGLEWOOD, CA – Most artists would love to have a career that gets them four seats away from mega-star Beyonce. Tia P isn’t most artists. In fact, this one-of-a-kind 23-year-old musician has her sights set on the same stage as Beyonce. She wants her career in music to be trend-setting, and her new single “4 Seats From Beyonce” is a bold statement that what she’s begun today is only the first step toward superstardom. “This song is about going from where I was to where I want to go and showing that journey as an artist,” Tia P said. “I’ve been making music as long as I’ve been breathing, and I won’t be satisfied until I make it all the way to the top. I’m paving my own lane with my style of music – it’s contemporary, but not with a cookie-cutter vibe.” One line of the song says, “They finally letting me loose, they ain’t letting me in. I stuck my foot in the door, and I ain’t exiting.” Tia P said it’s a metaphor for desires and ambitions. Her play on words displays an artist who started out in the nose-bleed section, worked her way to the box seats and eventually made it to the floor seats. But those seats are still four seats away from where she really wants to be. “It’s about having a desire not to settle, but to pursue your dreams and having enough perseverance to go after what you want,” she said. “Even if the odds seem stacked against you, that should be the fuel you need to go after what you want.” To date, Tia P. has seen modest success in her career. Both her parents are professional musicians, and Tia has used her knowledge of the music industry to work hard toward making a name for herself. She’s headlined music festivals and was the cover story for a feature in a recent article in the LA Sentinel. Over the past year she’s been able to collaborate with some bigger names, such as Jairus “J.Mo” Mozee and Eric Seats. And she recently signed a licensing deal with Riptide Music Group. She’ll be releasing an EP on her own label later this fall. In addition to the above, she landed a Pepsi commercial featuring Tori Kelly and she's signed to ABA Talent Agency. Before devoting herself to a career in music, however, Tia P chose to complete a four-year degree at Howard University. She has a major in psychology and a minor in music. She said part of her decision to complete her degree was to show fans how important it is to get an education – an education, she said, that has helped make her a better song-writer and lyricist by making her metaphors richer and full of depth. “I’ve always been a word-smith, metaphorically speaking,” she said. “I intertwine my metaphors so they’re a play on words – as opposed to saying the obvious. I like to showcase this as much as possible. That’s why I started doing Minute Music Mondays on my YouTube channel. I release some form of music every Monday, just to give fans a flavor of what I can do. Every song on Monday has a different twist to it – something different artistically. I might beat-box on one of them, or do something jazzy on another one. They’ll be songs that are familiar, but I still put my spin on it.” Fans who check out her music will realize that Tia P is one of the hottest new artists in the country because of the combination of a unique new sound and a hungry passion for success. She’s determined to work hard, and take her early success to new levels. In five years she hopes to be headlining her own worldwide tour, but mostly she wants her fans to love her music so much that they have to play it over and over again because they can’t get enough of it. “I want them to hear my music and say, ‘I gotta hear that again!’” she said. “I want them to almost be overwhelmed to the point that they have to listen to it again and again and have to tell someone else about it. It can be an inspiring chain. It’s not just what they hear in the moment – it’s a chain of moments. It’s the spark to light something else. They’ll remember that spark and they’ll want to ignite it again.” To hear more of Tia P’s music, fans can check out her Minute Music Monday submissions on YouTube. Her new single, “4 Seats from Beyonce,” is available on Soundcloud. And fans can follow her on social media @iamtiap on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. Milwaukee, WI – Jamil Robbins and his brother, co-founders of Fear Money Entertainment, have experienced more tragedy and struggle in their lifetime than most could imagine. Orphans and victims of the foster system, their only true influence was their loving grandmother, who was left to help raise twenty-eight of her grandchildren. Until her last dying breath, her life was poured out for them, giving until she had nothing left. After brushes with the law left Robbins jobless, he was desperate for a way out of the cycle of struggle, when his probation officer suggested he take his love of music and entrepreneurial spirit to the entertainment industry. The talented and innovative Robbins did just that, creating Fear Money Entertainment, and thus a new movement of music was born to bring a real message back to music. Frustrated by the way the hip hop and rap genre had failed the youth by encouraging lifestyles that caused his own family so much hurt, Robbins has turned the tables and is creating music his kids – ages 9 and 12 – can listen to and be encouraged by. “To hell with doing music to gain royalties and notoriety. This is about our youth – we got all our kids out here,” Robbins explains. Fear Money’s latest project is a collaboration between a host of talented musicians, rappers, and producers who have come together to create At All Cost, a testimony of trials and triumph. The album is currently available via Apple Music. Jamil Robbins has refused to let his life’s struggles be in vain, and is using his message as a way to propel the youth forward and bring back a simpler, positive message to those who will listen. “It’s not about what you get while you are here on Earth, it's about what you leave behind. A great woman by the name of Mary L. Hughes taught me that.” Follow on Instagram: @FearMoneyEnt Listen on SoundCloud. Watch on YouTube. Listen on Apple Music. |
