STEUBENVILLE, OHIO — Every artist has a story. For independent hip-hop artist, entrepreneur and Donuts Ent. founder L-HECKTO H-DONUTS, that story begins in the streets, neighborhoods and hardworking culture of Steubenville, Ohio.

Long before recording albums or building businesses, Donuts was a kid growing up in a city known for producing resilient people. Nestled along the Ohio River, Steubenville has earned a reputation for championship football, blue-collar work ethic and generations of families who understand the value of perseverance. Those same values would become the foundation of the man behind the music.

“Steubenville made me who I am,” says Donuts. “It taught me to work for everything, stay loyal to your people and never let your circumstances define your future.”

Growing up in the Ohio Valley wasn’t glamorous. Like many communities throughout the region, Steubenville has experienced economic shifts, changing industries and challenges that have tested generations of residents. But for Donuts, those realities became motivation rather than obstacles.

The neighborhoods where he spent his childhood introduced him to the values of family, accountability and community. They also exposed him to the hardships, triumphs and real-life experiences that would later become the foundation of his songwriting. Rather than manufacturing stories for commercial success, Donuts built his music from authentic experiences, creating records that reflect the voices, struggles and ambitions of everyday people throughout the Ohio Valley.

Now, after three years without releasing new music, Donuts is returning with Mobsters, Madams & Murder, a powerful new album that reflects not only his artistic evolution but the life experiences that shaped him along the way.

For three years, many fans wondered when one of the Ohio Valley’s most respected independent voices would return. While the public saw a pause in releases, Donuts was quietly laying the foundation for his next chapter.

Rather than chasing viral trends or short-lived moments in today’s music industry, he focused on expanding his business interests, investing in real estate, entering the trucking industry and strengthening the independent infrastructure behind Donuts Ent. Throughout that time, he continued writing, recording and refining music behind the scenes.

“This isn’t a comeback,” says Donuts. “I never stopped building—I just stopped releasing music.

That mindset reflects the city that raised him. Steubenville has always been known for people who work hard, keep their word and refuse to quit when life becomes difficult. Those principles continue to define Donuts both as an artist and as an entrepreneur.

Sessions was born and raised in Miami, FL to parents of both Cuban & Panamanian descent. He was brought into music at an early age by battling other artists online. Sessions was then introduced to another artist who helped him formulate songs on his own.

In 2008 Sessions was introduced and started working as a ghost producer and songwriter for Troyton Rami (Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Kevin Lyttle, etc.) He was at this time signed to Black Shadow Music Group/Universal Publishing Group and began working for artists under the guidance of Troyton (Beenie Man, The Bahamen & Kevin Lyttle). At the time of his departure from Black Shadow Music Group/Universal Publishing Group he began to write and perfect his own songs and styling.
