The Cool Runnings Crew was established in April 1990 by Bigga Rankin and his younger brother Garfield. Together they formed a style of reggae and hip hop that transcended the party scene, declaring their spot as the pioneer record breakers in Duval County. Since then, Cool Runnings DJs has been smashing the club scene throughout the US as well as overseas, gaining respect from Industry peers as well as the Hoods throughout America. Whether its spinning in a local neighborhood (normally in places where radio and club DJs are not welcome are respected) for a few hundred people, in a club for over a thousand partygoers, or at an event with 10,000+ screaming music lovers, Bigga Rankins produces raw energy and spits pure fire every time he touches the mic. Since the early nineties, Bigga Rankin and The Cool Running DJs have sold and produced well over a 300,000 mix tapes, mix CDs, videos and DVDs in the southeast.
