Dj Nasty
Any Night of the week you can catch him spinning at some of the craziest parties in Miami, from South Beach to some of Miami’s hardest streets. DJ Nasty has made a name for himself not only in South Florida but across the entire state, with a keen ear for new music and the talent and ability to break records, when it comes to DJs he is known as the ultimate in Miami.
DJ Nasty started his career as an MC while attending Florida A & M University he was then given the opportunity to Dj by DJ Saxwell, from there his career and reputation skyrocketed as one of the most influential DJs in Florida. Since his humble beginnings at FAMU, DJ Nasty has gone on to work with some of the industry’s most well known celebrities such as; Juvenile, David Banner, Field Mob, Lloyd, Young Joc and Bow Wow just to name a few. In 2003 he became the official tour DJ for the Nappy Headz. In 2004 he was named the Official Tour DJ for Bloodraw (CTE), and in 2006 he took his talent on tour with T-Pain. Dj Nasty returned to his roots in Miami in 2007, and began cultivating opportunities for South Florida artists such as; Ballgreezy,Unda Surveillance, Toro, Grind Mode, Chowtime and the Dunk Ryders. During this time he influence caught the attention of well known DJs Bigga Rankin and Tony Neal, which in part led to him becoming a part of Bigga Rankins The Cool Runnings Crew, and then being named a Core DJ by Tony Neal, owner of the Core DJs. Tony Neal was so impressed with Nasty that he crowned him president of Core Streetz. It is 2011 and DJ Nasty continues to resonate as one of the most influential DJs that the industry has ever seen, after his success as the official DJ for not only the Dunk Ryders but Trick Daddy as well. DJ Nasty has made his successful mark in the Entertainment industry not only in Miami but worldwide, he continues his success now as one of the most well known DJ’s on South Florida’s ONLY station for Hip Hop and R&B 99 Jamz WEDR. Dj Nasty has recently signed to Poe Boy Records, which is home to artist such as Flo Rida and Brisco. With a track record as commendable as this, success has become inevitable. |
