Ms.Hypnotique *aka* Dymond as others may know her, is a young female DJ, Artist, & Promoter from Memphis, TN (South Memphis). Known for her extroverted attitude, snappy comebacks, boldness, and ability to lead others, she’s well on her way to success.“People always ask me if it was hard to go from artist to DJ” says Hypnotique, “It wasn’t really a problem. I’m a fast learner and it sort of snuck in on me really! I walked in on my CEO J. Shields while in the studio one day and he had the Virtual DJ program pulled up on my computer. He was playing around with it and testing it himself and I immediately took interest to it. I wanted to know how it worked for me. He taught me the basics and I went from there.”Over the next few months, after watching different DJ’s operate the program, creating their own style, she watched and learned and added her own personal touch. She was good at it. From learning to DJ to promoting, to engineering, she then began to make a name for herself. Everyone knew her as Ms.Hypnotique and later as DJ Hypnotique. She started her own radio show live on www.scmradio.com and on Ustream.TV. The listeners and viewers were shocked and amazed by her talents and ability to mix, scratch, chop, and screw music.Loving the compliments and attention, Ms. Hypnotique began her own mixtape series named “The Hypnotique Effect”.“People always seem to ask how I got my name and what did it mean.
