Since 2007 Owey has been a heavy presence in the Pittsburgh Hip-Hop scene. Hailing from the West Side of PGH he came up hard. The streets raised Owey and his younger brother. When his brother was arrested and given a 10-year sentence in a Federal penitentiary Owey gave up the streets and put his focus towards music.

Born Winston Portorreal in Washington Heights, NY..Heightz migrated to Miami, Fl at the tender age of 6 then moved on to Hollywood, Fl at 11. It was there his love for hiphop was born. Though living in the south, his spirit, heart, and swag was still New York. It is having both regions instilled in him that gives him that unique flavor he gives the people. Throughout all of his misfortune one thing remained constant...music. Listening to a variety of rappers he considered influences. Nas, 50 Cent, Jay Z, Tupac, Biggie, and Trick Daddy just to name a few. Whatever life .............
