RockstarGod, born as Jordayne Fuller, is an independent artist from Ontario, Canada. He got into the rap game from being around family members including his older brother and cousins.
"I always wanted to be a musician, since I was a kid it was the first and only job I ever wanted. My older brother and cousins would rap and helped me transition from being a listener of rap to a artist," said Rockstar. Being from Canada, Rockstar has a wide range of influences even outside of the rap genre itself. "My influences are Chief Keef, Lil B, Drake, and Juicewrld in rap/hip hop but I get most of my influences from music outside of the rap genre," said Rockstar. With his music, the emerging artist just wants people to connect with the emotions that he is conveying in the music that he makes. He wants his audience to feel something special when listening to his music. "I want the world to know I freestyle all of my songs and alot them are done in one take," said Rockstar Checkout his most recent video for his single "Free Base" below. Troy Ave, New York’s own consummate lyricist has again come out to play on the city streets, and in it reveals a reality only for the strong. To date, Troy Ave has shown us the real deal in his art and to continue to entertain and insight though, he has come up with a new visual experience, in the video “Streets Is A Myth”, taking cue from the real life GTA, the visuals of Action / Adventure Video Games, he pairs the concept of fake friends, leaches and gold-diggers with monsters, zombies and hoodlum thugs, over tattooed rappers that talk the talk but cant do nothing but take a walk.
Troy sets himself as the “Game’s Hero”, fighting that which we use to oppress ourselves, and in the statement of “Streets Is A Myth”, is he telling us that the rough life that is pronounced by many in the rap / hip hop community is based on true life, or the “Hollywood” image of what it takes to survive the streets. To take a que from Freddie Mercury, “Is this the Real Life, is this just fantasy”… or a nightmare. New York Musical Artist Troy Ave, who taken the name of the block he grew up on in Brooklyn, has been bringing heat in the form of hype songs with real lyrics this high energy MC got music made by and for the streets. Never apologetic, Troy Ave’s attitude and demeanor is direct and without effort, unlike those who have created a gimmick, he raps what he lives. Connect w/ Troy Avehttp://www.troyave.com
